WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF BUILDING A HOME WITH RIDGEWOOD?
Looking to build a home but don't know where to begin? You're in the right place. Here, we'll guide you through the process of building a home with our team, whether it's one of our pre-designed plans on our lots, or a custom build on your own property. Our general process overview will help you take those all-important first steps.
Pre-Approval
Talk to your lender to discuss your approval amount for a new home purchase or construction loan.
Select Your Homesite
We have lots in neighborhoods throughout Bryan/College Station that you can choose from, or you may be looking to build on your own property.
Select or Design Your Floor plan
If purchasing one of our lots, we will have a floor plan selected for the lot, ready for you to put your personal touch on it! If you are building on your personal property, you will need to get a full set of plans drawn up with a draftsman. We will create your estimate from these plans.

Final Walk-Thru & Move In!
Approximately 7 days before closing, we’ll do a Final Walk-Thru with you to mark touchups, orient you to your new home and review your warranty binder. We’ll make final touchups, clean and prepare the home for your closing day!
